A TYPICAL DAY!!!!!!!!
A typical day for this job is to wake up,
it can start anywhere from 5 to 7 in the
morning, and go until midnight or
who knows when. A makeup artist spends a typical workday on the set of a movie,
television show, photo shoot, music video, play, runway show or another type of
related
production. Many makeup artists start as assistants or volunteers.
As they gain
experience and make contacts, they eventually take on their
own projects. They
may advance to higher level jobs in which they are
responsible for makeup
departments or large productions. Some may start
their own production
companies.
The increasing desire of the public to attend live performances will create some
jobs. This is because more shows will be given and more actors and dancers will
need makeup. However, a decline in government funding for the arts could slow
job growth.you will have to take on bigger projects to work your way up.
